There are two primary factors that went into me creating this blog...
1. I've been reading alot of blogs lately and...
2. I've realized that, oddly enough, I actually enjoy writing
So, I thought, why not start a blog?
Because - I consider myself a mediocre writer, at best. Sure, I can string words together and write a decent paper for class, but when it comes to writing something other than a paper in proper APA format? Or writing something funny or insightful? Nope, I haven't quite acquired that skill...
But then I got to thinking about all the blogs I read now, and wondered how many of those writers were instatntly great bloggers, and how many put hours into their writing and took time to develop the skill. If I had to guess, I would say the latter group is probably the majority.
So? That thought was followed by, if they can do it, why can't I? Maybe this will turn into a blog that becomes wildly popular, or maybe it will simply be a place for me to express my thoughts for my own reading. Either way, it is an oppotunity to hone my writing skills and give my brain a bit of exercise since I don't get to do that as much now that I've graduated...I look forward to where this will take me
